The Organization
Berendina Stichting, an independent charitable foundation based in the Netherlands initiated the Berendina group in Sri Lanka. The organization consists of Berendina Development Services (Gte) Ltd and Berendina Microfinance Institute (Gte) Ltd. Berendina group is a partnership of people who are working to create better World for poor and other vulnerable groups of the community. We focus both on economically active and most vulnerable economically inactive poor. Berendina primarily work with underprivileged families in Kegalle, Nuwara Eliya, Anuradhapura and Trincomalee districts.
We seek proactive and self-motivated young individuals who have the ability & commitment to work in a challenging environment to fill the following positions.
POST OF LIVELIHOOD DEVELOPMENT OFFICERS
Job Profile:
Design, implement and coordinate livelihood development activities with selected families over different livelihood options to enhance their income generating capacity.
Qualification & Experience:
1. 2 years experience in agriculture or fisheries related work (Senior Position)
2. With no experience (Junior Positions)
3. Degree or Diploma in Agriculture from a recognized Institute.
4. Basic computer skills in work packages.
5. Should have a valid Motor Cycle riding licence.
6. Excellent in Tamil, writing ability in basic English, also preferably with ability to speak Sinhala.
Age Limit: Below 35 years.
Salary: Negotiable. Market based an attractive remuneration package will be offered depending on qualifications and experience. Please indicate current salary in your job application.

Having
a common CV to be applied for any vacancy may not be the
best way of doing it. It is important to have a specific CV
for a specific vacancy. This is because different companies
look for different skills and competencies in candidates
even if the vacancy is for the same vacancy. For instance
one company's expectations from an Accountant might differ
from another. Writing a CV for a specific job is not always
