(On Contract)

IBSL is looking for a dynamic, proactive, foresighted and result oriented professional to function as its Director, College of Banking & Finance. The suitable candidate should have the following qualifications.

Academic:

A degree in Economics/ Commerce/ Business or Public Administration/ banking & Finance or Management from a recognized University. (A postgraduate qualification will be an added advantage)

And

Professional: AIB/ FIB/ ACIB/ FCIB or equivalent qualification

And

Experience: At least 3yrs experience in a senior position of a Commercial Bank/ Licensed Specialized Bank or reputed Financial Institution.

Or

3yrs experience as the Head of a professional Training Institution.

Expected Role:

The selected candidate should have an overall knowledge in banking operations and excellent communication skills in Sinhala & English to deal with students/ lecturers and examiners. A working knowledge in Tamil would be an added advantage.

Main duties and functions would be:

* Design/ develop curricula relating to Training programs/ seminars & Workshops etc. * Deliver lectures at the COBAF * Coordinate with banking & financial sector officials * Have continuous networking with local & foreign academic and professional bodies

This position will be on a contract basis and the remuneration package is negotiable depending on qualifications, experience and potential of the candidate.
